The reason why I wrote this letter to you is that I'd love to introduce Happy 700 PyeongChang to you, and also I will explain why PyeongChang is the best place to open the 2014 Winter Olympics. PyeongChang is the place of hope. You may know about the flood which swept over whole Gangwon in summer, 2006.
However, people rose up to open the Olympics in Pyeong-Chang. Some of people was enduring their pains, but they could stand over despair because they believed that there would be another hope. 2014 Winter Olympics is the only desire for the people all over the country.
In addition, PyeongChang is a beautiful city. You can experience richness of cultural color of Gangwon. It has beautiful sight and clean air, so its value is recognized by many people. I think it can give you joy and freshness.
You may think South Korea is now unsettled because of the nuclear weapon conflicts with North Korea. But I don't think it's very serious problem between the two. We can assure your safety in PyeongChang during the Olym-pics. It will give us preferable chance to make peaceful world. It can be the chance to increase intercommunica-tions between the two.
PyeongChang is ready to make the most wonderful and touching Winter Olympics that has never done before. Hope-ful city, Beautiful city, Peaceful city, PyeongChang. I am sure Olympic will be hold in PyeongChang in 2014.

저는 남춘천여중에 다니는 차승민입니다. 평창이 2014년 동계올림픽 개최의 최적지임을 알려드리고 싶습니다. 지난해 여름 강원도에 발생한 수해를 뉴스를 통해 알고 계실겁니다. 많은 피해가 있었지만 주민들이 실망하지 않고 재기했습니다. 바로 이곳에서 2014년 동계올림픽이 개최될 수 있다는 희망 때문입니다. 평창은 아름다운 곳입니다. 전통문화가 살아 숨쉬고 아름다운 풍경과 맑은 공기가 있습니다. 여러분들이 북한의 핵무기 문제로 우려하고 있는 것으로 알고 있습니다. 그러나 저는 그리 심각한 문제가 아니라고 생각합니다. 우리는 안전한 동계올림픽을 치를 것입니다. 평창동계올림픽은 세계에 평화를 확산하고 남과 북 간의 교류증대에도 기여할 것입니다. 평창은 역대 어느 대회보다 훌륭한 대회를 치를 수 있는 준비가 되어 있습니다. 올림픽이 평창에게 개최될 것을 확신합니다.
